Jesse had made such a difference in our little girl Bella. When he first came to our home, Bella had been scared by a very forceful trainer. She would bark, show her teeth and growl at anyone who came in. We were very concerned. Jesse understood that she was just scared and had some major anxiety. By the time he left after the consultion, we were very relieved because we knew he could help. Bella is now a completely different dog! She listens, the growling and fearful behavior has stopped. She still loves to bark but now its because she wants attention! He's very patient, knowledgeable and really has your dogs best interest at heart. I would recommend him to anyone. To the simplest training to the most extreme behavior issues, You want Jesse.
I’m so grateful to have worked with Jesse. He showed us how to instill what he calls an “emergency word” in our dogs for a near-magic recall. It really works! Not long ago one of my young dogs dashed out of the door at an unguarded moment and went racing down the driveway. I was in heels, trying to catch up, yelling, when I remembered the word: “Hurry!” Well, my dog did an instant about-face and came hurtling back. Jesse taught us that and many other things. He’s a wonderful trainer and I highly recommend him.
When we first got our puppy, Ralphie, he was bursting with energy. He bounced and played nonstop, chewed on everything, and had grave problems grasping the concept of potty training. Thankfully, that’s when we found Jesse. I’m not kidding; I think he has magic powers where dogs are concerned. He just seemed to understand Ralphie right away. Soon our pup was catching on to the potty training, sitting on command, chewing only on his toys, and walking nicely on leash. What a change! We’re going to keep working with Jesse, that’s for sure. We don’t want that magic to go away.
Jesse McKinney is an amazing dog trainer—quite the dog whisperer. I’m so glad we hired him to help us train our puppy, Kouger. He answered all my questions and concerns (and I had a lot), was flexible about consultation times, and his suggestions always worked! I loved all the extra assignments, too. Training with Jesse is fun as well as effective. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to work with. I’m almost sad Kouger is all grown up and well-behaved now, we will all miss Jesse.
